Ingredients (serves 2):
- ½ cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter
- ¼ cup (30g) powdered sugar
- 1 whole egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- A pinch of salt
- Butter and cocoa powder (for greasing ramekins)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease two small ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together (about 30 seconds). Stir until smooth.
- Whisk in powdered sugar until combined.
- Add the egg and extra yolk, whisking well.
- Stir in flour and a pinch of salt until just mixed.
- Divide batter evenly between the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates.
- Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream or berries.
