Banana Split Candy Bites

Ingredients (makes about 24 pieces):

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup freeze-dried bananas (crushed or chopped)
  • ¼ cup chopped dried strawberries
  • ¼ cup crushed pineapple (drained well or use dried pineapple, chopped)
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (or walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips or sprinkles
  • Optional: maraschino cherries (chopped and blotted dry)

Instructions:

  1. Prep: Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or use a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Mix: Quickly stir in crushed freeze-dried bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and half of the nuts.
  4. Spoon: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into liners or onto parchment.
  5. Top: Sprinkle each with remaining nuts, mini chocolate chips, and a tiny piece of maraschino cherry or extra dried fruit.
  6. Set: Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
