  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • Green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then toss in cornstarch to lightly coat.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 5–7 minutes, turning to brown all sides until cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and vinegar.
  4. Push chicken to the side of the pan and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then pour in the sauce.
  5. Stir to coat the chicken and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until thick and sticky.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
