Garlic Butter Beef Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil until shimmering.
  3. Add the beef cubes in a single layer (do this in batches if needed). Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the same pan. Stir constantly for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, toss to coat in garlic butter, and cook for another minute.
  6. Add thyme or rosemary if using, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Serving suggestion: Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
